Molly Tarlov has been an American actress since 2011. She is best known for her character Sadie Saxton, the star of Awkward the teen drama comedy show on television. Tarlov was raised in Manhattan, New York, being the younger of two daughters. In the Little Red School House, she began her professional career with the title Mrs. Peterson at age 10. The show was well received by the seventh graders. She attended classes for a year in Paris as a student at NYU Tisch and then spent the summers of her teenage years at Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College is where she earned her bachelor of Arts (theatre) and studied a range of different acting styles. The Atlantic Theater Company also helped her to become a professional as she learned to incorporate writing in to her acting in the LAByrinth Theater Masters Course. Molly switched her winter black coat for a pair of dark sunglasses after arriving at Los Angeles. In a short time, she landed a small part on iCarly which attracted lots of attention from her friends and family. She has since done several TV appearances, and also created the role of Caitlin in Winnie Holzman, Savannah Dooley's ABC's Family series Huge. Molly pretends that she can be a good basketball player, despite the fact she isn't. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
